Unique Aluminum topped desk for home or office in Providence, Rhode Island For Sale

Unique Executive Desk - This is a "remodeled" desk from the xxxx's J.H. Spiegel -Philadelphia. I purchased at a yard sale where it was in pretty rough shape, but I liked the simple lines and huge amount of storage space that it had to offer. Side drawers are 2' 3" deep and 13.5" wide with four drawers on the left and three on the right with one of them being a deep double drawer with dividers. The center drawer measures 2'3" deep and 27" wide. Yes, the lock works I had a locksmith make two new keys. The top of the desk is something you will not find everywhere. It's made out of 3/16 inch Aluminum Plate that I cut and used metal grinders to create the design. It gives the designs a 3-D effect that you really can't appreciate with pictures. The surface has been polished, buffed, and sealed and has a smooth finish. The dimensions of the top are 5'6" inches wide and 3 feet deep providing a huge area of work space. As for the finish of the wood every square inch was sanded down, primed, and then coated with three coats of OIL BASED paint in gloss providing a very durable finish that can be cleaned unlike water based paint. The color of the body is almond and the trim is white. The handles were all replaced with a brushed aluminum finish. I cut out and replaced with new wood the bottom of the drawer cavity and added two additional supports. This desk is perfect for both an office or home environment with a bright and clean look providing plenty of storage and working space. Price - $750 I have a new metal/wood furniture business opening in January and right now this desk is a space issue. Payment is cash only I am not set up for CC as of yet.
