Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Oversight of all foodservice production
Supervision of inventory, purchasing and storage of food and non-food products
Development of menus, continually evolving with seasonal focus
Weekly scheduling for all kitchen and stewarding operations
Daily monitoring of staffing levels and payroll time sheets
Weekly reconciliation of actual payroll to budget and forecast
Reviewing and coding of invoices daily [minimum]
Set and maintain the standard for positive communications between front, back and sales departments
Daily monitoring of prep production and adjust of needs
Daily quality check of all mis en place prior to service
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. We are looking for someone with a well-rounded experience, who has worked in both fine dining and high volume settings. Applicants should be reliable,organized, and handle themselves well under pressure. Hotel experience is a plus.
