District Sales Manager in Providence, Rhode Island For Sale

dELiA*s has a District Sales Manager opening in our New England district (Natick, Providence, Pheasant Lane Mall, Holyoke, Emerald Square Mall, Burlington Mall, Rockingham Mall, North Shore, and The Maine Mall).We are searching for someone with strong field leadership, high standards of customer service and selling & operational skills to effectively lead high volume performance.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure stores within district meet or exceed performance metrics Embrace, practice and lead Company selling strategies; assess selling behaviors and execute action plans Recruit, interview, select and retain the most qualified applicants in a timely manner Coach and develop Associates for current and future responsibilities Create a learning environment by implementing training programs Administer progressive discipline when applicable Provide an open door policy where Associates are free to express their concerns and feeling Partner with Human Resources regarding elevated employee relation cases Coach and direct stores on visual merchandise guidelines and ensure compliance Achieve financial goals Allocate district staffing and scheduling budgets and oversee expense control Ensure the district adheres to loss prevention policies, procedures and audits and is compliant with all employment, state and federal laws REQUIREMENTS:   Minimum 2-3 years multi-store responsibility or high volume retail store management experience Bachelors degree or equivalent retail management experience Proven leadership skills in training, coaching, motivating and selling Willingness and ability to travel Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
