Responsibilities
The Head of Property Projects role encompasses strategy development and the production of an optimum Projects operational model across the Americas platform, the leadership and coordination of senior project and program management teams comprising colleagues and external resources provided by key delivery partners/suppliers.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Leading the strategic direction and delivery of Property Projects throughout Americas, providing customer excellence, high quality, value for money and timely completion (circa $70-100M spend per year).
* Implementing and sustaining a business model that delivers a volume resistant and portfolio-centric model. Leading, motivating and managing internal resources while directing and integrating external resources provided by key delivery partners/suppliers.
* Managing Property relationships with Divisions engaging '‘clients” at inception stage of all projects for strategic briefing, gaining a clear understanding and unambiguous definition of business requirements and affordability from the outset of each new works request.
* Responsibility for full ‘open book’ auditable reporting against cost, quality and time deliverables within agreed governance process.
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree required, Masters desirable in related professional discipline and chartered membership of a relevant professional body
* Ability to operation and influence at all levels in the Group
* Demonstrated Leadership skills
* Track record of delivering significant portfolio-wide network and major new-build, fit-out and consideration projects
* Track record of delivering substantial and sustainable quality improvement and increased service delivery programs during career.
* Demonstrated track record on value added contributions as a member of a senior management team
* Demonstrable commercial experience of driving change at operational and strategic level
Desired Skills
* Experience with management of Senior Executive relationships (RBSCFG)
* Experience managing outsourced supplier relationships
* Experience contributing to a Corporate Real Estate strategic management agenda
* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
* Project Management experience
