Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst – Corporate Real Estate position will be responsible for the collection, analysis and management of all headcount forecasting data, as well as, strategic program requirements for individual projects and initiatives within the RBS Citizens Americas Corporate Real Estate portfolio. This individual will create and foster a climate of continuous improvement in their supporting role of successfully delivering projects, striving for excellence and contributing to the overall development of RBS Citizens Property Portfolio Strategy, Strategic Planning - Program Management
The Analyst’s performance will fill a critical role within Property Portfolio Strategy Americas (PPSA) and will have an extremely high impact on the successful execution of projects as well as overall management of the on-going demand forecasting vital to PPSA and the Group. The Analyst role is crucial in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and delivery. This individual will provide comprehensive, well written project documentation and deliver a complete set of clear, accurate project documentation which will improve efficiency by reducing rework and ensuring project deadlines; thereby decreasing project cost and increasing revenue potential.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Utilizing program management on-line tools, key stakeholders and other available resources to obtain and manage all business line headcount demand forecasting and strategic program requirements for individual projects and initiatives. Researching, facilitating discussions, analyzing and evaluating options and providing recommendations working with the Program Management team and the other PPSA departments.
* Managing project tasks or parts of the project plan assigned within scope, quality and timeframe allocated with minimal supervision
* Creating and delivering through the full sign off process project/program documentation by working with key stakeholders to elicit information and gain agreements
* Data interpretation - Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure end solutions meet requirements, gaining an understanding of the context and impact of the project to the business line and collaborating with the business to influence best solutions
* Maintaining and developing knowledge of project methodologies and a professional network of contacts, sharing knowledge and best practice where appropriate to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelors Degree in related fields required.
Experience:
* 4-6 years of previous experience as a Business Analyst or similar discipline (including requirements development) an advantage.
* Strong understanding of program and project management techniques/methodologies
* Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word
* Experience partnering with Key Stakeholders to drive and achieve desired results
* Experience interfacing with various levels of management throughout enterprise
Desired Certifications and experience:
* Project Management Certification desirable
* Experience in Property Services and/or in Corporate Real Estate Management is desirable
