Primary responsibilities include environmental due diligence, development of remediation strategies and management of remediation projects associated with all CVS Caremark locations. The Environmental Real Estate Manager position will collaborate with business partners and external vendors to ensure environmental conditions at proposed, new, existing and legacy locations are properly identified; and where remediation is required, oversee environmental remediation activities to bring the location to regulatory closure in an expeditious manner. The Environmental Real Estate Manager will have a strong working knowledge of major federal and state environmental regulations related to Brownfield redevelopment, hazardous waste clean-up, building materials, and property transfer. In addition, this Manager will be conversant in a wide range of remediation technologies including appropriate application for identified risk and associated costs. The Environmental Real Estate Manager will serve as an internal subject matter expert to legal, real estate and construction departments as well as all CVS Caremark facilities.Required Qualifications: 10 to 15 years experience performing environmental due diligence and site remediation.Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree Professional Geologist Professional Engineer Licensed Environmental Professional Understanding of real estate transactions. Management of environmental risk associated with large portfolio of real estate locations.
