We are looking for both Full and Part Time drivers First Transit is proud to offer:Competitive Wages : 11/hourTremendous career advancement opportunities due to a strong presence all across North AmericaA comprehensive benefits package with company training, paid holidays and vacation, medical and dental, and 401(k) savings planCutting:edge training Brown University Shuttle Driver major responsibilities:Drive shuttle bus in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area within a daily assigned time schedulePerform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as requiredStop at designated points to load and unload passengersAssist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scootersNotify dispatch of deviations, overload, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical troubleAdvise passengers of rules and regulations when necessaryComplete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents Brown University Shuttle Driver requirements:Must be at least 21 years of agePossess a valid driver's licensePossess a Rhode Island Chauffeurs License or Passenger Endorsement and PUC Blue CardHave at least 3 years of driving experienceAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAble to work shift hours and days assigned.
